Today I want to tell you about our business model, many ask us how we imagine the evolution of LEANFA for the years to come and therefore let me take this opportunity to tell you about it.
To be honest, we don`t have much time left to imagine our evolution, because we are almost constantly committed to the creation of business opportunities and to accomplish them. In a few words, instead of imagining, we have to operate.
Our activities are divided into two strands: Export and Research.
The Research and Development activities are the vast majority of our daily commitment, thanks to the gratifying interest that our KOPERNICOOK project is collecting from the national and international industrial world. Our radiofrequency and microwave modules have soon revealed to be flexible technological bricks which, combined according to various architectures and accompanied by an appropriate allocation of sensors and control circuitry, accomplish innovative solutions in various areas: solid-state cooking, fruit drying, post-harvest fruit and vegetables sanitization, microwave chemistry, plasma lighting, thermal ablation of organic tissues and a new application in the automotive field which we will soon inform you about.
The various applications for the ISM world require intense work of simulation, design, prototyping and testing, in a continuous cycle that constantly involves our academic and industrial partners. It`s the beating heart of LEANFA that pumps innovation at frequencies ranging from few kHz to GHz towards the arteries of the ISM world.
In parallel, our sales team is engaged in the export support for Italian Companies that now begin to consider foreign markets or that are currently consolidating their market position by acquiring new geographic sales areas. If Research represents our circulatory system, export is our respiratory system, which allows LEANFA to extract pure oxygen to be addressed to research and development projects. The margins of export support activities are in fact totally reinvested in instrumentation and human resources dedicated to the developments for the ISM world.
